Conversely, the Renewable Energy Group focuses on generating and marketing electrical power, capacity, ancillary products, and renewable energy credits derived from its diverse portfolio of renewable and clean power generation facilities, predominantly in the United States and Canada. This includes owning and operating hydroelectric, wind, solar, and thermal facilities, as well as various clean energy and water infrastructure assets. Established in 1988, the corporation maintains its headquarters in Oakville, Canada.
