Beyond its airborne activities, ATSG delivers a wide array of ground-based and logistics support. These services include equipment upkeep, efficient cargo load transfer and package sorting, and comprehensive crew training. Its ground operations manage labor for cargo handling, oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of material handling equipment, and provide both leasing and maintenance for ground support equipment, alongside general facilities management. Other offerings extend to equipment installation, vehicle repair, jet fuel supply, and deicing services. The company also operates airline express services, line and heavy maintenance, and ground handling. ATSG also actively runs both cargo and passenger transport operations. It engages in the resale and brokerage of aircraft components and specializes in converting passenger aircraft into freighter or combi configurations. As of December 31, 2021, ATSG maintained an active fleet comprising 107 owned aircraft and an additional ten aircraft secured through leases.
