About iShares S&P 500 Index Fund Investor A Shares

The primary goal of this fund is to replicate the overall return performance of the broad market of publicly traded common stocks, as measured by the Standard & Poor's 500® Index. Operating as a feeder fund, it channels all its capital into the MIP Master Portfolio, which shares identical investment objectives and strategies. At least 90% of its assets are directly invested in the constituent securities of the S&P 500 Index. Furthermore, the fund strives to mirror the individual stock weightings found within the S&P 500, meaning its allocation to each stock roughly corresponds to that stock's representation in the index.
