Further additions to its pipeline are CID-103, targeting multiple myeloma patients, and Thiotepa, which possesses a broad range of indications, including its use as a conditioning therapy for various allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants. Additionally, long-acting injectable formulations of Octreotide are being developed for managing acromegaly and alleviating symptoms associated with different neuroendocrine tumors. CASI maintains licensing agreements with Juventas Cell Therapy Ltd, BioInvent International AB, Black Belt Therapeutics Limited, and Cleave Therapeutics, Inc. It has also forged distribution partnerships with China Resources Pharmaceutical Commercial Group International Trading Co., Ltd, Pharmathen Global BV, and Riemser Pharma GmbH. Incorporated in 1991, this Rockville, Maryland-based company was formerly known as EntreMed, Inc. before adopting its current name, CASI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in June 2014.
