CITIC Limited is a globally diversified conglomerate, actively engaged across a broad spectrum of industries including financial services, natural resources and energy, manufacturing, engineering, advanced materials, consumer goods, and urban development. Its operations span worldwide. Within its Comprehensive Financial Services division, the company offers a full suite of integrated financial solutions. These encompass banking operations, trust and fiduciary services, insurance and reinsurance, investment banking, wealth and asset management, capital market activities, equity investments, and various financing options. The Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing segment is involved in producing automotive components, such as wheels, lightweight cast parts, and chassis and body systems. This division also develops and supplies mining and heavy machinery, sophisticated robotics and smart equipment, innovative new energy technologies, and specialized industrial materials. CITIC's Advanced Materials division focuses on providing specialized steel products and high-grade chloride. Furthermore, it undertakes exploration, development, and production activities for crude oil. This segment also includes investments in coal and bauxite mining, global commodity trading, electrolytic aluminum production, alumina smelting, and the ownership and management of power generation facilities. The New Consumption segment delivers telecommunication services and is involved in the leasing and sale of satellite transponders. It also operates in the publishing industry, offering physical and digital books, alongside a bookstore retail business. Additionally, this segment provides distribution and support services for various automotive brands, advances agricultural science and technology, and handles brand development, manufacturing, commodity trading, agency distribution, logistics, and retail for fast-moving consumer goods, healthcare products, and electrical appliances. Through its New-Type Urbanisation segment, CITIC offers environmental solutions, infrastructure development, construction contracting and design services, healthcare provision, and general aviation operations. This segment is also a key player in the development and investment of residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. Established in 1987, the company underwent a name change from CITIC Pacific Limited to CITIC Limited in August 2014. Its corporate headquarters are located in Central, Hong Kong.
