To achieve these goals, the fund typically commits at least 80% of its net assets—supplemented by any borrowed funds for investment purposes—to corporate bonds and other debt instruments classified as investment grade. These "investment grade" securities are specifically defined as those possessing a credit rating of BBB- or higher from S&P Global Ratings, or Baa3 or higher from Moody's Investors Service.
