Within its Food segment, Meiji offers an extensive portfolio that includes dairy staples like yogurt, cheese, drinking milk, butter, margarine, and cream, alongside frozen desserts such as ice cream. Its confectionery range features chocolates, gummy products, and chewing gums. The company also provides ready meals, various beverages, sports nutrition products, infant formula, specialized liquid diets, beauty supplements, and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Additionally, this segment supplies animal feed ingredients, corn sweeteners, and sugar, and offers transportation and distribution services. The Pharmaceutical division focuses on medications for infectious diseases and central nervous system disorders, as well as generic drug alternatives. It manufactures agricultural and livestock chemicals, human and animal vaccines, and blood plasma derivatives. Meiji's veterinary drugs for livestock and aquaculture encompass a broad spectrum, including antimicrobial injections, disinfectants, orally administered treatments, insecticides, anthelmintics, antipyretics, analgesics, anti-inflammatory agents, hemostatics, and breeding aids. Furthermore, this division provides insecticides, metabolites, feed additives, and blended feeds. For companion animals, the offerings include anesthetics, pain management drugs, anti-parasitic and gastrointestinal medications, antibacterial agents, antiplasmin agents, vitamin E preparations, and various dietary supplements. Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd. was established in 1916 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
