Mitsui E&S Holdings Co., Ltd., a global enterprise established in Tokyo, Japan, in 1917 (originally Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.), is dedicated to shipbuilding and a variety of engineering endeavors. The company's diverse operations are organized into four core divisions. Its Ship segment is responsible for constructing a broad range of vessels, including commercial and naval ships, high-speed passenger/vehicle ferries, and offshore and steel structures, in addition to manufacturing related equipment and offering design engineering services. The Ocean Development segment specializes in providing floating production storage offloading (FPSO) vessels. Within the Machinery division, Mitsui E&S manufactures an extensive portfolio of products, such as marine and stationary diesel engines, gas engines, steam and gas turbines, industrial compressors, blowers, various crane types (e.g., container, industrial), terminal management systems, wave generators, and radar sensing equipment for underground and construction applications. Through its Engineering division, the company undertakes power generation initiatives and international civil/architectural projects. Beyond these primary areas, Mitsui E&S also participates in telecommunication equipment, systems development, gas carrier engineering, social infrastructure projects, and manages specialized facilities for naval ships and aircraft.
