The company organizes its extensive operations across three key segments: Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance and Annuity Products, and Corporate and Other. Within its Wealth and Asset Management segment, Manulife provides a range of offerings, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), group retirement and savings plans, and institutional asset management services. These are distributed through a broad network of affiliated agents, brokers, securities firms, financial advisors, pension plan consultants, and banking partners. The Insurance and Annuity Products division focuses on solutions such as deposit and credit products, individual life insurance, long-term care insurance for both individuals and groups, and various guaranteed or partially guaranteed annuity products. These offerings reach customers via insurance agents, independent brokers, banks, financial planning professionals, and direct marketing channels. The Corporate and Other segment encompasses diverse activities including property and casualty insurance and reinsurance. It also manages "run-off" reinsurance operations, particularly for variable annuities, and accident and health policies. This segment additionally oversees timberland and agricultural investment portfolios, operates insurance agencies, handles portfolio and mutual fund management, acts as a mutual fund dealer, and is involved in life, annuity, long-term care, and financial reinsurance, as well as general fund management. Beyond these core segments, the corporation also furnishes investment management, counseling, advisory, and dealer services. Established in 1887, Manulife Financial Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
