Its extensive catalog further features ethylene glycols, butyl carbitol, cellosolve, butanol, butyl acetate, polyethylene glycols, tergitol, nonylphenol ethoxylates, ethanolamines, and gas treating solvents. Nitrogen-based products like ammonia and urea are also part of its offerings, alongside specialized chemicals such as PETRONAS Aireblue (a diesel exhaust fluid), oxo-alcohols, and water-based mud additives. Beyond production, the group's operations include transforming feedstock into syngas, carbon monoxide, and various ethylene oxide and propylene derivatives. It is also responsible for the ownership, operation, and management of the Kertih marine facilities. Furthermore, the company processes natural gas to produce urea and ammonia, and engages in the resale, formulation, and manufacturing of silicones, lube oil additives, and other chemical compounds. A portion of its business also involves real estate. Founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1985, PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad functions as a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad.
