The company's operations are divided into two primary divisions: Cinema Exhibition and Real Estate. The Cinema Exhibition division operates multi-screen movie theaters under various brand names, including Reading Cinemas, Angelika Film Center, Consolidated Theatres, State Cinema, Event Cinemas, and Rialto Cinemas. Meanwhile, the Real Estate division focuses on constructing, leasing, or licensing commercial, retail, and live performance venues. As of December 31, 2020, Reading International's extensive holdings featured 63 movie theaters containing approximately 515 screens. Its portfolio also included ownership interests in two live theaters, the 44 Union Square property, a cinema in Manhattan, two cinemas in Australia, and three in New Zealand, alongside several entertainment-themed complexes and two office buildings.
