About ROHM Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1940 in Kyoto, Japan, and originally known as Toyo Electronics Industry Corporation before adopting the name ROHM Co., Ltd. in 1981, the company operates as a global manufacturer and distributor of electronic components. Its operations are structured into three primary divisions: Integrated Circuits (ICs), Discrete Semiconductor Devices, and Modules. ROHM's extensive IC portfolio encompasses components for memory, amplification, power management, timing, switching, logic, data conversion, sensing (including MEMS), display and motor control, interface applications, communication (including LSI for speech synthesis), audio/video processing, and microcontrollers. Within the discrete semiconductor category, the company provides MOSFETs, bipolar transistors, and various diodes. Their power device offerings feature power transistors, power diodes, advanced SiC power devices, IGBTs, and Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs).
