Under normal market conditions, the fund is committed to investing at least 80% of its total net assets (plus any borrowed funds used for investment) in fixed income securities. The primary focus of its portfolio is on a broad spectrum of U.S. corporate and government debt, encompassing both investment-grade and non-investment-grade (or 'junk bond') classifications.
