Its operations are structured into four key divisions: Materials, Chemicals, Solutions, and Corporate & Business Services. The Materials division supplies advanced polymers, including aromatic, high-barrier, and fluoropolymers, for the electronics, vehicle manufacturing, aerospace, and healthcare sectors. This segment also develops fluorine and rare-earth formulations critical for automotive, electronics, agrochemical, and construction uses, as well as vanillin for the fragrance and flavor industries, and synthetic intermediates vital for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and electronics. Furthermore, it offers a suite of products for the upstream oilfield chemicals sector, such as friction reducers, gelling agents, emulsion breakers, surfactants, inhibitors, cementing additives, and biocides. Lastly, it provides sodium hypophosphite for metal plating and other diverse applications. The Corporate & Business Services division delivers energy management and various other business support functions. Established in 1863, Solvay S.A. maintains its corporate headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
