It also produces fasteners, adhesives, and fastening systems primarily for commercial low-slope roofing and other building product sectors, alongside woven substrates made from materials like fiberglass, quartz, carbon, and aramid. Furthermore, this segment designs, produces, and markets sophisticated power electronics and protection systems, motion control devices, and power quality electromagnetic equipment, such as custom ball-screws, gears, and gearboxes. These components are vital for high-tech fields like medical equipment, commercial and military aerospace, computers, datacom, industrial machinery, specialty LED lighting, test and measurement tools, and telecommunications. Additionally, it supplies various cutting solutions, offering meat-room blade products, repair services, and distributed items for supermarket, restaurant, and meat/fish processing facilities, including electrical saws. It also provides cutting blades for bakeries and wood cutting products for the pallet manufacturing, recycling, and portable sawmill industries. Lastly, the company develops coated, laminated, and metallized films tailored for various engineered applications. The Energy segment focuses on providing drilling and production services to companies engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. Through its Financial Services segment, Steel Partners conducts banking operations.
