The Resins and Plastics segment is responsible for producing a variety of essential materials: Polyester chips, which serve as inputs for creating polyester fibers, coatings, and various packaging containers. Polyethylene resins and plastics, utilized in the production of insulated cables and agricultural mulching films, as well as a broad spectrum of molded items like household goods and toys. Polypropylene resins, indispensable for crafting films, sheets, and molded products encompassing housewares, toys, consumer electronics, and automotive components. Additionally, this segment produces PVA granules. The Intermediate Petrochemicals unit generates substances such as p-xylene, benzene, and ethylene oxide. These chemicals act as fundamental building blocks for the subsequent production of other petrochemicals, different types of resins, plastics, and synthetic fibers. Through its Petroleum Products segment, the company manages facilities dedicated to crude oil refining. These operations yield a range of refined fuels, including gasoline, fuel oil, diesel, heavy oil, and liquefied petroleum gas.
