Within the Automotive sector, Sojitz handles vehicle assembly, sales, and auto-financing, alongside providing quality assurance for parts to manufacturers. It also acts as an authorized distributor for high-end automotive brands. Its Aerospace & Transportation Project division focuses on aircraft leasing, the provision of aircraft parts, business jet services, and developing transportation infrastructure. The Infrastructure & Healthcare segment encompasses the development of medical, telecommunications, and urban infrastructure projects. In Metals, Mineral Resources & Recycling, Sojitz is engaged in coal acquisition, contract mining, and invests in mid-to-downstream metal ventures, exploring new applications and business opportunities. Its Chemicals division facilitates trading across a spectrum from basic chemicals to advanced functional materials. The Consumer Industry & Agriculture Business segment builds and manages models aimed at enhancing food safety and security, covering agribusiness, foodstuffs, marine products (including processing), animal feed, and forest products. It also conducts wholesale operations and deals in fertilizers. Finally, the Retail & Consumer Service division covers a diverse array of consumer-focused activities.
