For metastatic triple-negative breast cancer, Veru is exploring a combination of Sabizabulin (an oral targeted cytoskeleton disruptor) and Enobosarm (a selective androgen receptor agonist) in Phase II trials. The company's portfolio also extends to prostate cancer: Sabizabulin is in Phase II trials for metastatic castration and androgen receptor targeting agent-resistant prostate cancer. VERU-100, a GnRH antagonist peptide delivered via injection, is also in Phase II for advanced hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. Beyond oncology, Veru is investigating other conditions: Zuclomiphene Citrate is in Phase II for managing hot flashes. Sabizabulin has reached Phase III for treating SARS-CoV-2 in high-risk patients susceptible to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
