The Core Components division designs, manufactures, and supplies rail fastening systems suitable for a wide array of railway applications, including light-rail, heavy-haul, high-speed, and urban transportation networks. Additionally, this division produces various concrete elements such as rail sleepers, specialized switch sleepers, and low-vibration blocks for slab tracks and crossing panels. Within the Customized Modules division, Vossloh is responsible for the production, installation, and upkeep of specialized rail turnouts and crossovers, alongside their associated control and monitoring systems, particularly for light-rail and high-speed railway environments. The Lifecycle Solutions division offers an extensive range of services that support the entire operational lifespan of rail infrastructure. These services include rail trading, the delivery and unloading of long rails at construction sites, welding new rails, reconditioning existing rails, on-site welding, rail replacement, grinding and milling, inspection, and general construction site supervision. Furthermore, this division coordinates and oversees rail shipments to construction sites and guarantees the on-site provision of essential unloading equipment. Vossloh AG was founded in 1883 and maintains its headquarters in Werdohl, Germany.
