Its major mining assets comprise Aitik, the Boliden Area, and Garpenberg in Sweden; the Tara mine situated in Ireland; and Finland's Kevitsa mines. Boliden's extensive product range includes essential metallic forms such as zinc and lead ingots, copper cathodes, gold bars, and silver granules. Additionally, it manufactures sulphuric acid and concentrates of copper, lead, nickel, and zinc. The company also produces a variety of by-products, among them copper sulphate, zinc clinker, iron sand, copper telluride, selenium, nickel matte, crude nickel sulphate, and concentrates containing palladium, platinum, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, and osmium. The company primarily supplies its refined metals to a broad spectrum of industrial clients, serving critical sectors like construction, electronics, and automotive manufacturing, as well as paper producers.
