About Logistec Corporation

Logistec Corporation, founded in 1952 and headquartered in Montreal, Canada, serves marine, industrial, and municipal clients across both Canada and the United States. The company's operations are distinctly categorized into two main divisions: Marine Services and Environmental Services. Within its Marine Services segment, Logistec maintains an extensive network, managing 80 terminals spanning 54 North American ports. This division offers a comprehensive array of specialized cargo handling capabilities, encompassing containers, bulk goods, breakbulk, and project cargo. Its offerings include stevedoring, efficient loading and unloading, container stuffing and destuffing, ship docking, road transportation, and secure storage. Furthermore, it provides truck loading and discharging services (tailgating) and acts as a marine agency for foreign shipowners and operators navigating the Canadian market. The Environmental Services division provides diverse specialized solutions. These involve the renewal of underground water mains, dredging operations, dewatering, expert management of contaminated soils and materials, site remediation, and risk assessments. Logistec also manufactures products for fluid transportation. The company delivers end-to-end "turnkey" solutions for environmental property assessments, as well as the cleanup of compromised soils, groundwater, and lagoons. Its expertise extends to the safe handling of hazardous materials in buildings and the systematic replacement of subterranean hydrocarbon storage infrastructure, which includes thorough site characterization, remediation, and risk evaluation for such sites. The company adopted its current name, Logistec Corporation, in April 1969, having previously been known as Quebec Terminals Ltd.
